wanted to say thanks to my boyfriend for organizing a really really great dinner at mozza the other night (muchas gracias a bobberlak and miss larue) and to tall nick/jen for having us all over.
the bf.

and also to my friends rio cause without her i wouldn't be drunk/high/wasted at work right now.

my brain wants to say i say i saw them open for phantom planet in 2002(can't remember for sure) thought they were amazing and started interning for their music manager shortly after and continued to work with them up until we got them their first record deal. z (lead vocals) has one of the most amazing females voices i've ever heard live or otherwise. unfortunately as it often goes, there were changes within the band and with this comes the difficulty of being able to find the rhythm that they once had. i'm not saying that its a bad thing its just hard to get back to the point of being comfortable and being able to write and perform as they once did. hopefully something good comes out of this cause the original members are phenomenal musicians. the first two videos have the original members and the black and white ones are with the revised band. i kinda wish they would have gone with the 60's theme in the beginning but what are ya gonna do. it seems like they were trying to cater to a UK audience with their newer material although they had been using some of the songs previously, they just played them faster. z now plays with JJAMZ as for the other girls.. your guess is as good as mine.
